Terms of Service

Last updated: May 27, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ImageToLocation, available at imagetolocation.com. By accessing or using ImageToLocation, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

ImageToLocation provides AI-assisted photo geolocation analysis. You can upload images, receive location candidates, view map-based estimates, and review written reasoning about visual clues such as signs, architecture, terrain, vegetation, roads, and landmarks.

Results are probabilistic estimates generated by AI systems. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for a specific decision. You are responsible for independently verifying results before relying on them.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract and comply with these Terms to use ImageToLocation. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for your account, credentials, usage, and any activity that occurs under your account. Keep your account access secure and notify us at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. User Content and Uploads

You retain ownership of images and other content you upload ("User Content"). You grant ImageToLocation a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transform, display, and analyze User Content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload User Content and that your uploads do not violate law, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, contractual duties, or these Terms.

You agree not to misuse ImageToLocation. Prohibited uses include:

  • Uploading content you do not have permission to use.
  • Using the service to harass, stalk, threaten, dox, or target people.
  • Attempting to identify private residences or sensitive locations for harmful purposes.
  • Using results as the sole basis for legal, safety-critical, law enforcement, immigration, employment, housing, insurance, medical, or financial decisions.
  • Uploading illegal, exploitative, or rights-violating content.
  • Reverse engineering, scraping, overloading, disrupting, or attempting unauthorized access to the service.
  • Circumventing usage limits, payment requirements, security controls, or access restrictions.

5. Plans, Payments, and Usage Limits

ImageToLocation may offer free and paid plans. Plan features, analysis allowances, prices, and billing intervals are shown on the pricing page and may change from time to time. Paid subscriptions are processed by third-party payment providers, and you authorize applicable recurring charges until you cancel.

Usage allowances may reset according to the plan terms shown in the product. Unused allowances generally do not roll over unless the product expressly states otherwise. Refunds, where available, are handled according to applicable law and payment-provider rules. For billing help, contact [email protected].

7. Intellectual Property

ImageToLocation, including the website, software, models, interfaces, branding, logos, and related technology, is owned by or licensed to ImageToLocation and is protected by intellectual property and other laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

8. Third-Party Services

ImageToLocation may rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, storage, maps, payments, analytics, security, and AI processing. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, or content outside our control.
